This font was created with a patterned layer in mind as the starting point. Marrying the dutch style of art with patterns, geometric shapes, clean lines, and spacing coupled with ideas of tarot cards with celestial elements like moons and stars, the layer was created as the first layer for this font. The base font is a san serif, more particularly a thicker font to cater to the pattern designs. In addition, the san serif font uses curved edges to make the san serif softer and whimsical, which is the overall feeling that is trying to be conveyed.
